What General Pest Control Covers

Last updated: October 2026

General Pest Control covers the pest-management work described in your service agreement, such as inspection of accessible areas and treatment for the listed household pests. The agreement identifies the property, service areas, treatment approach, and any preparation you need to complete.

Services not listed are outside the agreed scope. Termite work, wildlife removal, major sanitation or exclusion projects, and treatment of a newly discovered pest may require a separate inspection, quote, and written approval.

Florida structural pest control work is subject to licensing requirements in Florida Statutes Chapter 482 and standards in Florida Administrative Code Chapter 5E-14. Pesticides are applied only according to their labels, consistent with FIFRA; product registration is addressed by Florida Statutes Section 487.041.

We provide hazard information as required by OSHA’s Hazard Communication Standard, 29 CFR 1910.1200. Follow label directions and applicable Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services requirements for pesticide container disposal.

The United States Environmental Protection Agency, Florida Department of Environmental Protection, and, when relevant, Miami-Dade County Department of Regulatory and Economic Resources may also have applicable requirements.

Booking, Changing, or Cancelling a Visit

Appointments are arranged by phone, email, or another method offered by Florida Pest Solutions. We will confirm the scheduled service window and any preparation or access instructions.

Please make sure an adult can provide access when required, secure pets, and tell us about relevant conditions at the property before the visit. If you need to cancel or change an appointment, contact us as soon as possible using the details at the end of these terms.

Your service agreement may state a notice period or any applicable cancellation charge; no particular fee applies unless disclosed in that agreement.

If weather, safety concerns, access problems, or other circumstances prevent service, we may need to reschedule and will notify you. A request to add pests, rooms, structures, or treatment methods changes the agreed scope.

We will explain any revised work and cost, if applicable, and obtain your approval before proceeding. We do not treat additional areas or perform extra services based solely on an assumption that you agreed.

How Quotes and Payment Work

An estimate is based on the information available when it is prepared, including the reported pest issue, property details, and areas that can be inspected. It describes the proposed General Pest Control work and its price; it is not approval for services beyond the scope shown.

Ask us to clarify any item before accepting. If inspection reveals conditions that change the work needed, we will explain the proposed change and any added charge and request your approval before doing that work.

Payment timing and accepted payment methods are stated in your estimate, service agreement, or invoice. Unless your documents say otherwise, payment is due according to the invoice terms.

You are responsible for providing accurate billing details and paying charges for work you approved. Disputed charges should be raised promptly so we can review the service record and paperwork.

No specific price, financing offer, or payment arrangement is promised by these terms. A written agreement or invoice for your service controls if its payment terms differ from this general explanation.

Service Follow-Up and Warranty Terms

Florida Pest Solutions stands behind the work described in your signed service agreement and will review concerns about whether that work was completed as agreed. These general terms do not create a warranty, guarantee pest elimination, or set a coverage period. Any warranty, retreatment option, duration, conditions, or remedy applies only if it is stated in writing in the agreement for your service.

Coverage, if offered, may depend on the pest involved, the areas treated, required preparation, access to the property, and compliance with service instructions. Conditions such as untreated areas, new pest activity, building defects, moisture, sanitation issues, or introduction of pests after treatment may fall outside written coverage.

We will explain the terms that apply before service when a written warranty is offered. Contact us with the service date and a description of the concern so we can review the applicable agreement. Nothing in this section changes rights or duties that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Responsibility for Service-Related Losses

To the extent allowed by law, Florida Pest Solutions’ liability for a claim arising from a service is limited to the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to that claim. This limit does not apply where the law prohibits it.

We are not responsible for pre-existing damage or conditions, concealed defects, pest activity outside the agreed treatment area, or loss caused by inaccurate information, lack of access, or failure to follow instructions. These terms do not exclude responsibility for conduct that applicable law does not permit us to exclude.

Services remain subject to Florida structural pest control licensing requirements under Florida Statutes Chapter 482 and applicable standards in Florida Administrative Code Chapter 5E-14. Pesticide use must follow product labeling under FIFRA, and registered products are governed by Florida Statutes Section 487.041.

Hazard communication follows OSHA’s 29 CFR 1910.1200 where applicable. Pesticide handling and disposal must follow label directions and applicable Florida requirements.

Nothing here authorizes use contrary to a label or overrides applicable federal, state, or local rules.

Questions About These Terms

For questions about these terms or a service agreement, contact Florida Pest Solutions at (877) 729-2528 or info@floridapestsolutions.top. Mail may be sent to One Biscayne Tower, 2 S Biscayne Blvd, Miami, FL.

Include your name, service address, appointment date, and a clear description of your question so we can direct it to the right person. Please avoid sending sensitive payment information by ordinary email.

We may revise these terms as our practices or applicable requirements change. The current version will be made available with the terms on our website or through another written notice.

For changes that affect an existing service agreement, we will provide notice as required by that agreement or applicable law. Updated terms apply as stated in the notice and do not change completed work retroactively.

If a specific signed agreement conflicts with these general terms, the agreement controls for the services it covers, subject to applicable law.
